Glass Roots was formed in 2008 by Curtis Dionne. Our glassblowers serve clients in New Brunswick and the surrounding areas. Located in New Horton, we’ve been catering to the glass art needs of commercial and domestic customers and have been in the business for over a decade now. Anyone who comes is more than welcome to watch our glassblowers who will happily answer any questions that you may have. Every order is created using the process of our wood-fired glass blowing furnace. When you visit us, you can explore the hiking trail behind our Studio and Shop that leads to a Nature Conservancy called 2 Rivers.
Glass Roots Team
Curtis Dionne: Maestro Glassblower
Curtis Dionne started blowing glass in 2003. He was trained by internationally acclaimed glass blower Daniel Vargas for four years in Maple Ridge, British Colombia. He grew up traveling all over North America and is now settled in Atlantic Canada to make his mark in the art community.
Charlotte Macleod - Glassblower
We depend on Charlotte for everything! She assists Curtis in the studio and is one of our sales associates. She also runs the farm that is the setting of our gallery and studio. She always has a smile, and she goes the extra mile to ensure our customers are happy with our products and services.
Rachel Fletcher-Sales and Administration
Rachel Fletcher is a driving force in the retail sector of our team, and has been with Glass Roots Inc since the very beginning in 2008. With her big smile and bubbly personality, she takes care in ensuring that our customers have a great experience and are completely satisfied. You will usually find her behind the counter at our retail store, or selling our beautiful blown glass at art shows.
Gabriel Piqugard - Photographer
Gabriel has had a thriving career in many different companies. He is now our photographer at Glass Roots Inc and we’re pleased to welcome him as a part of our team.
Wayne Stevens -Lumberjack
Wayne Stevens has been our go-to wood guy since we first fired our wood-fired furnace. Wayne works for us full time cutting and delivering both soft and hard wood to fuel our inferno. Considering that we go through a cord and a half of wood a week, he sure has his work cut out for him.
Morgan Wilbur - Design, Receptionist
Morgan takes care of all our graphic design needs, including posters for upcoming exhibits and events, social media graphics, and all other marketing materials. She is a whiz with design and has an extensive knowledge in art and online marketing. You will see her smiling face greeting you at our Riverview gallery location.
